Sri Lanka's victory over Ireland
In the T20 World Cup, Sri Lanka defeated Ireland by 20 runs. Ireland performed reasonably well in bowling but faltered in batting. Only Tector (40), Adair (34), and Larkin (21) performed well. No one else scored a significant number of runs. Although Ireland showed some dominance for a while, they were eventually all out. Among the Sri Lankan bowlers, Theekshana and Hasaranga took 3 wickets each, Pathirana took 2, and Wellalage and Chameera took one wicket each.
