Statewide Shutdown of Educational Institutions Today
Student unions have called for a statewide shutdown of educational institutions on Friday, demanding the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. They hold him morally responsible for the NEET paper leaks and repeated failures in conducting examinations. Consequently, schools in Hyderabad and various other districts have declared a holiday for Friday. S.N. Reddy, State President of the Telangana Recognized Private Schools Association, stated that out of approximately 3,500 private schools within the GHMC limits, more than half have announced a holiday.
