"We Are the Candidates": Such Claims Will Inevitably Lead to Disciplinary Action
Hyderabad: The TPCC Disciplinary Action Implementation Committee has taken a serious view of leaders who are engaging in premature campaigning for the GHMC elections, claiming to be the official Congress candidates for corporate wards. Committee Chairman Mallu Ravi warned that strict action would be taken against anyone who unilaterally declares themselves a candidate before an official announcement is issued by the party high command. He emphasized that the Congress party follows a specific procedure for the selection of candidates. He further noted that it has come to the committee's attention that leaders from the Youth Congress, in particular, have been campaigning with the assertion that they are the designated candidates.
