A massive quantity of ganja (cannabis) was destroyed in Anakapalli. At the Paravada Coastal Waste Management Plant, 20,876 kg of ganja and 23 kg of hashish oil were incinerated. These drugs had been seized in various cases across five districts within the Visakhapatnam range. Speaking to the media on this occasion, Home Minister Vangalapudi Anita emphasized that her government is taking a very stern stance regarding the eradication of ganja and other drugs. She stated that protecting the youth from the clutches of narcotics is a primary objective of her government.
