We will bring digital currency: Piyush Goyal
Union Minister Piyush Goyal has revealed that India will also launch a digital currency soon. "Although we are not banning crypto currency, we are not encouraging it either. It does not have the support of the Centre or RBI. There is no sovereign/asset backing. The digital currency that India will bring with the guarantee of RBI will reduce the use of paper. Transactions will be done quickly and easily. It will also have tracing capabilities," he said.
