West Asia Rocked by Mutual Attacks
Tehran: The conflict between the US and Iran escalated further on Saturday. The situation shook West Asia as tensions spread to neighboring Kuwait and Bahrain. Initially, the US attacked Iranian surveillance systems; in retaliation, Iran launched counter-attacks on US bases in Kuwait and Bahrain. The US targeted Iranian radar and surveillance systems located on Goruk and Qeshm islands near the Strait of Hormuz. Subsequently, it shot down four Iranian drones heading towards the Strait of Hormuz.
