Wipro’s Profit Sees Slight Decline
New Delhi: IT services company Wipro has reported a net profit of Rs 3,200.6 crore for the second quarter of the current financial year, ending in September. This represents a 1.40% decline compared to the profit of Rs 3,246.2 crore recorded during the same period last year. Revenue from operations increased from Rs 22,697.3 crore to Rs 24,752.7 crore. On a quarter-on-quarter basis, the company’s profit fell by 4.5%, while revenue grew by 1%. Revenue from the IT services segment stood at $2.6115 billion.
