When should non-veg be introduced to children?
Food plays a key role in the growth of children. Experts suggest that children should be gradually introduced to solid foods from six months of age. Meat should be given from 8 months of age. Boiled eggs should be given first, and chicken and fish after one year. They say that they should be cooked well and softened before giving them to children. They say that meat is rich in iron and zinc, so children should be accustomed to them.
