10 Hours... ₹97 Crores!
Tirumala: Donations amounting to ₹96.98 crore poured in for the Lord within just ten hours—a record! As of June 26 this year, the TTD had a total of 197,888 donors, a number that is steadily increasing. Anticipating that the provision of special darshan and accommodation facilities to these donors might reduce the time available for ordinary devotees in the future, the TTD has proactively formulated a new donor policy. Donors have been categorized into four groups based on the donation amount.
