Moving forward on Godavari-Kaveri only after reaching a consensus!
Amaravati: Union Jal Shakti Minister C.R. Patil clarified that the Godavari-Kaveri interlinking project would proceed only after a consensus is reached through consultations. This follows discussions held last month among the Chief Ministers of Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, and Telangana—Chandrababu, D.K. Shivakumar, and Revanth Reddy—during the inauguration of the Tungabhadra Dam gates. A meeting of the National Water Development Agency (NWDA) regarding the river interlinking process was held via video conferencing on Wednesday under his leadership.
