1.90 Lakh Acres of ‘Chukka Lands’ to be Freed Soon: Anagani
Amaravati: Revenue Minister Anagani Satya Prasad announced that 1.90 lakh acres of ‘Chukka lands’ (lands with ambiguous ownership status in revenue records) in the state would be cleared of their encumbrances within 10 to 15 days. He stated that additional revenue divisions would be created for administrative convenience. He remarked that Andhra Pradesh stands as a role model for the nation in protecting the land rights of its citizens. Speaking to reporters at the Amaravati Secretariat on Friday, he highlighted that the Revenue Department has implemented revolutionary reforms over the past two years.
