25 lakh new Ujjwala connections
New Delhi: On the occasion of Navratri, the central government will distribute 25 lakh new free LPG connections under the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana (PMUY) scheme, Union Petroleum Minister Hardeep Singh Puri announced. Sharing a post on his 'Ex' account on Monday, he revealed that through this, the total number of 'Ujjwala' families will reach 10.60 crore. He said that the government will spend Rs. 2,050 on each new LPG connection.
