New Delhi: The momentum in Indian exports continues. In August, merchandise exports grew by 26.12% year-on-year, reaching $43.81 billion (approximately ₹4.20 lakh crore). This marks the highest growth since June 2022, driven by an increase in petroleum product exports. During the same month, imports rose by approximately 14.1 percent, reaching $70.76 billion (Rs 6.78 lakh crore). The trade deficit narrowed to a five-month low of $26.86 billion.
