Warangal: Maize fetched a record price at the Warangal (Enumamula) agricultural market on Wednesday. Farmers expressed happiness as the crop commanded an unprecedented price. When Rajarappa Poshalu, a farmer from Garnepalli village in Warangal district, brought 18 bags of maize to the market, traders purchased the produce at a rate of ₹2,750 per quintal. This development was welcomed by both farmers and officials.
