60,821 Acres for Lord Jagannath
The Sri Jagannath Temple Administration has disclosed the assets of the famous Jagannath Temple in Puri. The temple holds a total of Rs 1,912 crore across various banks and owns 60,821 acres of land spread across several states. These assets are in addition to the gold and diamond jewelry stored in the *Ratna Bhandar* (Temple Treasury). Arabinda Kumar Padhee, Chief Administrator of the SJTA, stated that these funds were accumulated through devotee donations, the temple's own quarries, interest on fixed deposits, proceeds from land transactions, and government grants.
