Amaravati: Amidst soaring onion prices, the state government has taken a key decision. Arrangements are being made to set up special counters at 'Rythu Bazaars' (farmers' markets) to sell onions at ₹35 per kilogram. This decision was reached during a meeting of the ministerial sub-committee on Thursday as part of measures to curb the rising prices of essential commodities. Ministers Payyavula Keshav, Atchannaidu, and Satya Kumar Yadav participated in this meeting chaired by Civil Supplies Minister Nadendla Manohar.
