₹72 Crore for HYDRAA
The Municipal Administration Department has issued administrative sanctions releasing ₹72 crore to HYDRAA to cover emergency expenses during the monsoon season. A Government Order (GO) to this effect was issued on Monday. HYDRAA Commissioner AV Ranganath had requested the funds for organizational operations, the formation of monsoon emergency teams, the removal of debris from stormwater drains, fencing of government lands, the cost of removing encroachments, and other related activities.
