A Century at Just 15
A sensational performance has been recorded in international T20 cricket. Fanny Utagushimaninde, a 15-year-old girl from Rwanda, dazzled the field by scoring a century. During the Nigeria Invitational Women's T20 Tournament, she scored 111 runs off 65 balls—including 17 fours—against the Ghana team. With this feat, Fanny has set a record as the youngest cricketer—across both men's and women's international T20 cricket—to score a century. Previously, this record was held by Proscovia Alako (16 years old) from Uganda.
