A Drone Fleet is on the Way!
In modern warfare, drones are radically transforming military strategies. Beyond minimizing casualties, they are becoming crucial assets for executing precision strikes on enemy bases, gathering intelligence, and carrying out suicide attacks. Against this backdrop, India is also focusing on building a drone fleet. Reports indicate that the country is preparing to procure drones (Unmanned Aerial Vehicles—UAVs) worth approximately ₹17,000 crore from domestic manufacturers to bolster its military capabilities.
