As Sunday was a holiday, thousands of devotees flocked to the temple from Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, Maharashtra, and Tamil Nadu. Consequently, the Matha premises, Annapurna dining hall, Maha Mukha Dwara (main entrance), Madhva Marg corridor, main roads, Raghavendra Circle, and the banks of the Tungabhadra River were filled with the lively presence of devotees.
