Akeeb Joins as Net Bowler
A one-off Test match between India and Afghanistan is scheduled to take place starting from the 6th of this month. As part of this initiative, Jammu & Kashmir pacer Aquib Nabi has been selected as a net bowler. Although the squad—led by Gill—had already been announced, criticism arose regarding the decision not to give a chance to Nabi, who had claimed 60 wickets in just 10 matches during last year's Ranji season. Consequently, albeit with a slight delay, he has now been brought on board as a net bowler. Joining Nabi as net bowlers will be Prince Yadav, Gurjapneet Singh, Shivang Kumar, and Saransh Jain.
