Amazon’s ‘Proteus’ Robot Tackles Demanding Tasks
London: Global e-commerce giant Amazon introduced its next-generation ‘Proteus’ robot at its fulfillment centers in Europe on Thursday. It greatly assists employees by handling physically demanding tasks. The robot can understand commands given in natural language; employees can assign tasks using ordinary, conversational language—just as they would speak to a colleague—without the need for technical commands or programming interfaces.
