Arrest of Relatives of Iranian Leaders in the US
The United States has turned its attention toward the relatives of key Iranian leaders who are legally residing within the country. It is revoking their legal rights and carrying out arrests. On Saturday, US Secretary of State Rubio announced the revocation of the Green Cards held by Hamideh Afshar—the niece of former IRGC Commander Qasem Soleimani—and her daughter. He stated that this decision was taken because they were working in support of the Iranian government.
