Bandi Sanjay Visits Sringeri Peetham
Hyderabad: Union Minister of State for Home Affairs, Bandi Sanjay, participated in the Jayanti celebrations of the Pontiff (Peethadhipathi) of the Sringeri Sharada Peetham in Karnataka. During his visit to the Sharada Peetham, he sought the blessings of the Successor-designate, Vidhushekhara Bharati Swami. He participated in the *Sahasra Narikela Havanam* (ritual involving a thousand coconuts)—a grand sacrificial ceremony—and the *Purnahuti* ritual held within the temple premises. He offered prayers to Goddess Sringeri Sharadamba and performed special rituals. Vyasojula Radhakrishna Sharma, the in-charge of the Sringeri Peetham for Telangana, also participated in this event.
