Certificates must be issued even if fees are pending: Upalokayukta
Andhra Pradesh: Upa Lokayukta Justice Rajini has ordered that original certificates should be given to students in universities and colleges even if their fees are pending. When students protested against the non-issuance of certificates in SVU, the decision was taken suo moto. He said that even though the government has taken responsibility for the payment of fees, the non-issuance of certificates is hurting employment opportunities. He suggested that certificates should be issued by taking undertakings/bonds.
