There's some good news for those wishing to visit the Char Dham. The doors of the Char Dham, namely Badrinath, Kedarnath, Yamunotri, and Gangotri, will soon be closed. The auspicious time for closing the doors of Badrinath Dham has been determined on Vijayadashami. Previously, the dates for closing the doors of Kedarnath, Yamunotri, and Gangotri have also been announced. Let's find out when the doors of the four Dhams will be closed. When will the doors of Badrinath close? After the traditional prayers on the occasion of Vijayadashami, priests have determined the auspicious time for closing the doors of the Badrinath Temple in Chamoli district. The doors of Badrinath, a world-famous pilgrimage site located in the upper Garhwal Himalayan region of Uttarakhand, will be closed on November 25th next month. According to officials, the doors of the Dham will be closed for the winter season at 2:56 pm on November 25th. When will the doors of other shrines close? According to information, the doors of Kedarnath and Yamunotri will close on October 23rd. Meanwhile, the doors of Gangotri will close the day after Diwali. Therefore, devotees wishing to visit these holy sites can visit before the doors close. Why are the doors closed? The four shrines are located in the high Himalayan region. Consequently, these areas are vulnerable to heavy snowfall and severe cold during winter. This is why the doors of the four shrines are closed to devotees every year in October-November. The doors of the four shrines are reopened in April-May of the following year. The Char Dham Yatra lasts approximately six months. Millions of devotees visit the shrine, which is considered the backbone of Uttarakhand's economy.
