Corning and SGDG Pharma Launch Rs 500 Crore Glass Tubing Plant in Telangana
Hyderabad: Pharma giant Corning and French company SGD Pharma have launched a state-of-the-art glass tubing plant in a joint venture at Vemula in Mahabubnagar district. They have invested Rs 500 crore in setting up this plant. The plant, which was inaugurated on Monday, combines Corning's state-of-the-art vial technology with SGD Pharma's vial converting experience. The plant will manufacture high-quality Type 1 borosilicate glass tubing.
