Cyber criminals who have stolen Rs. 55,649 crore
People are losing thousands of crores of rupees due to cyber frauds that are going on every day. In the last 5 years, 65,89,063 victims have lost ₹55,649 crore. These frauds are increasing every year and are not decreasing. In 2021, 2,62,846 complaints were received and ₹551 crore was cheated. In the same year, 24,02,579 cases were registered and the amount cheated reached ₹22,495 crore. Meanwhile, the Center announced in Parliament that it was able to save ₹8189 crore in 23.61 lakh cases.
