Delay in 33% Reservation Amounts to Injustice Against Women: Modi
Prime Minister Modi stated that the time has come for women to raise their voices strongly within legislative bodies as well. He announced that 33 percent of seats would be allocated to them. To this effect, he penned a letter addressed to the women of the nation. He further stated that the 'Nari Shakti Vandana Adhiniyam' Amendment Bill would be introduced during the parliamentary sessions scheduled to take place over three days, commencing on April 16. He emphasized that any delay in this matter would constitute an injustice against women.
