Former Tamil Nadu BJP President Annamalai has criticized the actions taken by the Delhi Police to suppress the protests by the CJP (Citizens for Justice and Peace). He questioned the central government, asking, "Do you label those who question you as 'foreign agents'?" He posted this on 'X' (formerly Twitter) on Thursday. He suggested that instead of suppressing dissent by labeling people as 'anti-national forces,' the central government should provide answers to the questions raised by the CJP. While clarifying that he does not necessarily endorse the manner in which the CJP is conducting its protests, he emphasized that in a democracy, everyone has the right to protest.
