Five-day rally halted
Mumbai: The five-day relief rally in the domestic stock market came to a halt on Friday. The Sensex closed at 76,802.90, down 607.08 points, while the Nifty ended at 24,013.10, losing 154.90 points. Factors such as the postponement of a scheduled US-Iran meeting in Switzerland aimed at a peace agreement, profit-booking, and continued selling by FPIs dragged the indices down at the end of the week.
