Turning on a fan before going to bed helps evaporate sweat, thereby bringing your body temperature under control. As the cool air from outside combines with the breeze from the fan, you will fall asleep almost immediately.

Keeping your feet cool prevents your body temperature from rising. Therefore, placing a pair of socks in the refrigerator for half an hour and then wearing them on your feet creates a cooling sensation that makes you feel ready to sleep.

Even if it feels hot, you should avoid taking a bath with extremely cold water. Doing so can actually cause your body temperature to rise, leaving you feeling irritable. Taking a bath with lukewarm water in the evening or just before going to bed at night yields the best results.
