Gas from Coal!
In the wake of developments in West Asia that have led to shortages of natural gas, LPG, and urea, the Central Government has initiated innovative measures. It has decided to leverage the country's vast coal reserves to produce 'Syngas' (Synthetic Gas) on a large scale. By utilizing 'Syngas' instead of natural gas, it becomes possible—through specialized processes—to produce urea, methanol, hydrogen, diesel, petrol, and various other hydrocarbon chemicals.
