Gold Offerings Melted Down into Bars
New Delhi: It has been revealed that those who misappropriated gold offerings made by devotees to Lord Ram in Ayodhya melted the items down and converted them into gold bars. The Special Investigation Team (SIT) constituted to probe the matter believes the accused took this step to ensure no evidence of the original offerings remained. The SIT, which is investigating the vast quantities of gold and silver offerings made by devotees to the Ayodhya Ram Temple, has focused its attention on the disappearance of these items.
