The accident occurred near the Wakda Bridge in the Chaufula area near Kedgaon on the Pune-Solapur State Highway. A Magic Van crossed the road divider and entered the other lane. Furthermore, the Magic Van collided with an oncoming pickup truck. After the collision, the Magic van overturned several times and fell upside down on the road.
