India vs. England first T20 washed out by rain
Rain disrupted the first T20 match between India and England. Heavy rain lashed the venue after Team India concluded its innings in the first match of the five-game series. With the rain showing no signs of abating, the umpires decided to call off the match. Earlier, India had posted a total of 189 for 7 in 20 overs, driven by an explosive knock from Abhishek Sharma (59 off 24 balls, featuring 6 fours and 4 sixes) and an impressive half-century from captain Shreyas Iyer (68 off 47 balls, with 6 fours and a six).
