Changzhou (China): India's campaign at the China Open Super 1000 badminton tournament has come to an end. Star shuttlers PV Sindhu and Lakshya Sen, along with young player Ayush Shetty, were eliminated in the pre-quarterfinals of the women's and men's singles events. PV Sindhu, who won the Japan Open last week, could not sustain that momentum here. In a fiercely contested second-round singles match on Thursday, she suffered a defeat against world number four Chen Yufei (China) with a scoreline of 21-16, 20-22, 18-21.
