Interest Rebate on Property Tax Arrears
The Government of Andhra Pradesh has announced good news regarding property tax arrears in municipalities and corporations. It has issued orders granting a 50 percent rebate on the interest component if the dues are cleared by the end of this month. Meanwhile, in Telangana, the GHMC recently announced that it would provide a 90 percent interest waiver on property tax arrears within the Hyderabad limits. It stated that this opportunity would be available until March 31.
