Ishan Surpasses Abhishek to Claim No. 1 Spot
Dubai: Dashing wicket-keeper Ishan Kishan has ascended to the No. 1 spot in the ICC T20 batter rankings. In the rankings released on Wednesday, Ishan (876 points) overtook his teammate Abhishek Sharma (869 points) to secure the top position. Abhishek, who had held the top spot for nearly a year, slipped to second place. While young batter Tilak Varma (747) retained the sixth spot, Suryakumar Yadav (708) dropped one place to rank eighth.
