KS Bharat announces retirement
Indian wicketkeeper Srikar Bharat has announced his retirement from international cricket. He expressed his gratitude to the BCCI, the Andhra Cricket Association, coaches, teammates, and family members who supported him throughout his career. The 32-year-old from Andhra Pradesh played seven Test matches for Team India, scoring 221 runs and recording 18 catches and one stumping. He made his debut during the 2023 Border-Gavaskar Trophy. However, he could not secure a consistent spot in the longer format.
