Layoffs at Adidas India
New Delhi: Adidas, a leading company in the sports equipment and apparel sector, has announced layoffs in India. The company is set to lay off software engineers, data scientists, and data engineers working at the Adidas India Tech Hub in Gurugram. Approximately 700 people work at the Adidas India Tech Hub in Gurugram; reports indicate that up to 350 employees—about 50 percent of the workforce there—will lose their jobs. It is understood that Adidas informed its employees about the layoffs on September 15.
