LIC gives good news
State-run insurance company LIC has given good news to its investors. It has approved the issuance of bonus equity shares in the ratio of 1:1 in its board meeting. It will give an additional free share for every share held by the shareholders as on the record date. This means that if you have 100 shares, they will become 200 shares after the bonus. The record date will be announced soon. LIC was listed on the stock market in May 2022.
