In Karnataka's Mandya district, an MLA's daughter slapped a female Sub-Inspector. The incident occurred following an argument over temple entry for worship. According to the FIR filed by Sub-Inspector Savita at the Kyathanahalli police station, Aishwarya demanded immediate entry into the sanctum sanctorum despite the heavy crowd. When asked to wait briefly, she allegedly argued with Sub-Inspector Savita, cited her father's position, and slapped her. Savita alleged that Aishwarya misbehaved with her, obstructed her official duties, and assaulted her while she was on duty. Savita alleged that the MLA's daughter wanted to enter the sanctum sanctorum but was asked to wait for two minutes due to the crowd. The Sub-Inspector claimed that Aishwarya used abusive language and slapped her. The complaint further states that the dispute escalated when Aishwarya questioned why an Inspector named Lakshmi was allowed inside while she was being stopped. **MLA Apologizes** Later, MLA Suresh Gowda apologized for his daughter's actions but claimed that the officer had misbehaved with her. He said, "My daughter requested to go inside. The police refused, whereas a Circle Inspector was allowed entry. It appears she was treated rudely, and an altercation ensued. I haven't seen the video.
