Modi Aims to Strengthen Union Territories
Puducherry: Union Home Minister Amit Shah stated that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s goal is to strengthen Union Territories and assured that the Central Government would support the comprehensive development of Puducherry. He praised the Puducherry police force for their dedication to maintaining internal security and law and order, despite having limited manpower. A grand ceremony was held on Sunday at the police grounds in Gorimedu to present the prestigious 'President's Colour' award to the Puducherry police department.
