Nationwide Bank Strike Today
New Delhi: Public sector banks across the country are set to observe a strike on Friday, following a call by bank employee unions to press for long-pending demands. The United Forum of Bank Unions (UFBU) called for this strike to achieve several demands, including the implementation of a five-day work week. As a result, branches of various banks will remain closed on September 11.
