Notice to Rahul for Breach of Parliamentary Privilege
BJP MPs have lodged a complaint with the Lok Sabha Secretariat, alleging that Leader of the Opposition Rahul Gandhi breached parliamentary privileges. The Secretariat has issued a notice to Rahul, asking him to respond to the allegations. He is accused of making objectionable remarks against Union Home Minister Amit Shah during the discussion on the 'Public Examinations (Prevention of Unfair Means) Amendment Bill.' The complaint states that he leveled serious allegations against Amit Shah without providing prior notice—as required under Rule 353—and used unparliamentary language.
