OPS for 11,000 Teachers!
Amaravati: The Coalition Government is poised to take a pivotal decision soon that will benefit approximately 11,000 teachers. Steps have been initiated to implement the Old Pension Scheme (OPS) for teachers who were recruited after 2004 through the notifications issued in 2002 and 2003. Acting upon representations received from teachers recruited under the 2003 DSC (District Selection Committee) notification, the government has moved towards taking a favorable decision on this matter. The relevant file has been forwarded to the Chief Minister's Office, thereby formally commencing the official process.
