The Indian women's team stormed into the Junior Asia Cup hockey semi-finals after crushing arch-rivals Pakistan. In the quarter-final match held on Thursday, India defeated Pakistan 19-0. While Pooja Malik dazzled with a hat-trick (scoring in the 27th, 49th, and 51st minutes), Roshini (9th, 60th), Sanika (13th, 23rd), Supriya (40th, 54th), and Sidar (16th, 39th) each scored two goals. Pooja (7), Tanushree (11), Sukhveer Kaur (13), Geetha (18), Tanuja Toppo (25), Purnima (33), Krishna Sharma (48), and Binima Dhan (55) scored a goal each.
