Tanvi and Prannoy in the quarter-finals
Ho Chi Minh City (Vietnam): Young shuttlers Tanvi Sharma and Malvika Bansod, along with senior player HS Prannoy, have reached the quarter-finals of the Vietnam Open badminton tournament. In the Round of 16 matches held on Thursday, Tanvi defeated Passa Orn 26-24, 21-12, and Malvika beat Thidapron 21-19, 21-14; Tanvi and Malvika will now face each other in the quarterfinals. Meanwhile, Pranay won against Je Ying 21-15, 13-21, 21-14, and Sanskar Saraswat defeated Kiran George 21-12, 10-21, 21-18.
