Physical Relationship Between Teenagers: Relief for Boy in Kidnapping Case
The Uttarakhand High Court has granted relief to a boy facing kidnapping charges in connection with a physical relationship he had with a 15-year-old girl. The court stayed the proceedings against him that were scheduled to take place before the Juvenile Justice Board. The girl's father had filed a case against the boy, alleging that he had kidnapped his daughter. However, the girl testified before the court that she herself had invited him to her home and that their relationship was consensual. Consequently, the court granted the boy relief from the legal proceedings.
